The bigger changes were under the hood where GM's ruling that all its cars reduce emissions and run on regular-grade fuel which caused a reduction in the compression cut to the 4-4-2's 455 cid V-8 engine.
Still a powerful good looking car that produced 340 BHP@ 4600 RPM. Insurance rates at the time were starting to take effect on Muscle Cars. The standard 455 engine was introduced.

A challeging model to build but rewarding and impressive especially if your good with details and spray painting which I did enjoy many years ago and still do.
