Just what the Doctor ordered in 1971 an Olds 4-4-2 Plastic Model Kit

The bigger changes were under the hood where GM's ruling that all its cars reduce emissions and run on regular-grade fuel which caused a reduction in the compression cut to the 4-4-2's 455 cid V-8 engine.

Still a powerful good looking car that produced 340 BHP@ 4600 RPM. Insurance rates at the time were starting to take effect on Muscle Cars. The standard 455 engine was introduced.

Olds fans have awaited the arrival of the Revell 1/25 scale plastic model kits of the 71 Olds 442 W-30. Available now thru J.Thomas Collectibles www.jthomascollectibles.net The kit is basically the same as the previous 2009 release. You can build a manuel or automatic transmission. You can add either the factory W-27 performance rear axle or the stock option. The decal sheet offers the W-30 badging. It comes with the correct air cleaner and AC lines under the hood. A challeging model to build but rewarding and impressive especially if your good with details and spray painting which I did enjoy many years ago and still do.
